Daren is an ex-Royal Marines Commando who has transitioned into a full-time firefighter. His military background is where he developed a passion for endurance activities, honed through some of the most demanding military training in the world. While he has a deep love for running in the mountains, his focus has shifted to Ironman triathlons. Ironman is one of the most challenging single-day events, consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, followed by a full marathon. Daren thrives on pushing himself to his limits, and his dedication has earned him numerous podium finishes, including competing in the pinnacle of the sport, the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, and the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Lahti, Finland.
